Get InvolvedSwadhishthan began as more than just an idea; it was a growing vision. It emerged from the
efforts of a young Onil Kulkarni, who led a group dedicated to aiding those in need during the
2013 drought. The success of their water distribution initiative, known as the Trishna project,
sparked a dream in Onil's mind. This dream inspired him to pursue an education in social work,
equipping him with the perspective necessary to evolve this youth group into a full-fledged
NGO.
Swadhishthan’s journey, from conducting various relief drives to developing impactful
awareness and sustainability programs, reflects the milestones that have shaped its growth.
Today, it stands as a Non-Governmental Organization committed to driving social change by
fostering greater sensitivity and resilience within communities and across government and nongovernment systems.
